VIKALP is seeking young people (ages 22 - 27 years) from around the world to participate in Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Program. Participants are nominated by their NGO's in their home region, and spend six to nine months here, beginning in mid May 2005, doing field work working on rural water and sanitation project and cooperating in community teams. It is the active work outdoors like group formation and strengthening, issues of water supply and sanitation, PRA. RRA and PLA methods, planting trees, arrange meetings, seminars,workshops and Visit to school and colleges. We take care of all the basic needs the participants may have while in the program, including room and a small stipend. Nominating organisation or candidate has to cover their own travel expenses and insurance.
